Response to “Why Some Teams are Smarter” on NPR

I listened to this response and interview with the authors of the NY Time Article “Why Some Teams are Smarter” and started to make some links between other works I’ve written about. Here is the NPR link for this On Point episode. There are many organizational leadership lessons found in “Work Happy”. “Quiet” also highlights the values of introspection and team dynamics. I relate strongly to the idea that the person talking the most doesn’t necessarily have the best ideas. I myself perform better when I have a problem that I can think about before collaborating with others. “Autopilot” expands on the idea that when given a problem, conscious thought might only get you so far, after that your brain will continue processing the idea in the background.
